Shipping policy

OVERVIEW

This Shipment Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) describes what are your shipping options, how the products are shipped, when you make any purchases or place orders on our site, i.e. www.rimalinum.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website” or “Site”).

This document has been made in full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (simply called “GDPR”) and Directive 2000/31/EC (simply called “E-commerce Directive, 2000”) of the European Parliament and of the Council.

This Policy shall be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions, Cookie Policy, Privacy Policy statement and Return & Refund Policy.

SHIPMENT SERVICE

All our products are shipped from our workshop in Lithuania located at Smetonos gatvė, 5 - 303, 01115 Vilnius, Lithuania. We use the services of third -party delivery service providers for shipping the orders placed by the users (Lietuvos pastas/Fedex/TNT/UPS/DPD/DHL). However, users also have an option to pick the orders themselves from our shipping address mentioned above.

ORDERS AND SHIPMENT
  • Self-pick Up: Whenever you place an order for any product on our website, you would be allowed to choose an option to self pick-up the order, provided such products are available in stock with us. The orders can be picked up from our workshop in Lithuania, at Smetonos gatvė, 5 - 303, 01115 Vilnius, Lithuania, between 16:00h to 19:00h, from Monday through Friday, except on holidays.
  • Orders subject to acceptance and availability: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that an item listed as “in stock” will actually ship right away, as inventory can change significantly from day-to-day. In rare cases, a product may be in stock when a customer places the order, and sold out by the time we attempt to process the order.
  • Shipment Time: Orders are dispatched within 6–10 business days from the date of order confirmation. This timeframe may vary slightly depending on the size of the order, but we always strive to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible. 
  • Shipping Cost: Shipping cost is to be borne by the user. The cost depends on weight of the product, varies from one country zone to the other. You will be able to see this cost before you place the order with us.
  • Delivery Time: We use various courries for International Economy shipping, that takes from 4 to 11 business days for delivery within Europe, 2 to 3 weeks for the United States and Canada and from 4 weeks for the rest of the world. The estimated delivery date to your destination address of an item will be communicated to you after your successful payment. However, the same is subject to change based on shortage of an item, bad weather, transit time of your carrier, destination address, or covid related restrictions etc.
  • We might use other carriers or shipping methods, that will be indicated in the checkout.
  • Not for Commercial Purpose: The products sold on the Website are not for re-sale or distribution. We reserve the right to cancel orders and/or suspend accounts where we believe products are being ordered in breach of this provision.
  • Assumption of Risk: You will assume the risk for the products once they have been delivered to the delivery address which you specified when ordering the products. We or our delivery partners accept no liability where you provide an incorrect delivery address or where you fail to collect the products from the delivery address which you specified.
  • Express delivery: should you wish to use an express international delivery service, please contact us and we will be glad to offer you delivery that suits your needs.
CHECKING THE ORDER STATUS

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number that you can use to continually check its status. Please allow us up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within a period of 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

TAXES AND DUTIES
  1. Taxes and Custom Duties: Imported goods may be subject to different import taxes and customs duties depending on their content, value and other legally considered factors. You shall be responsible to bear these amounts in full, wherever applicable. We will estimate the amount of import tax and fees and charge them to you when you place an order.
  2. EU VAT: EU Value Added Tax (VAT) tax is included in the product price and is our responsibility to collect and pay it to the appropriate country authorities as per applicable law.
THIRD PARTY DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDERS

Whenever you place an order with us for any product, it is our third-party delivery service providers (hereinafter referred to as our “Delivery Partners”) who ship and deliver the products to your doorsteps in the most convenient and hassle-free manner. For this purpose, we also share certain personally identifiable information (PII) of yours with our Delivery Partners in order to fulfill your order. Please refer to our Privacy Policy statement for more details on the subject.  

RISK OF LOSS

The items purchased through the Site are shipped by Delivery Partner, therefore, as a result, risk of loss and title for such items shall pass to you, upon our delivery to the Delivery Partner. In no case, shall we be responsible for any lost shipments.

RESERVATION OF RIGHT

We or our Delivery Partners reserve the right to change the shipment fee for any jurisdiction.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Unless provided by the relevant statute, rules or directives applicable to the jurisdiction in which you reside, in case of any claims, disputes or controversies arising out of or in relation to the Products that you order or purchase from the Website, or this Policy, the same shall be dealt with as per the Governing Law and Dispute Resolution clause as mentioned in the Terms & Conditions.
